The Senior Account Executive (SAE) role will be a liaison between the client and the agency and is responsible for helping to manage client relationships. The SAE will assist in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The position will be measured on the ability to deploy strategies to achieve successful outcomes proactively. This position will report to the Senior Director of Integrated Communications.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works closely with clients to bring a holistic strategy to the client’s plan, encompassing both digital and traditional marketing strategies
  • Helps ensure the efforts of various team members and components align with the client’s goals
  • Creates a budget around client plans and forecast staff hours around it
  • Manages clients and feels comfortable leading client meetings and leading teams assigned to the client’s strategy
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to improve processes on accounts; takes responsibility for the success and failures of the internal team
  • Outgoing and excited to share their ideas with the team
  • Participates in and occasionally leads creative and PR strategy meetings
  • Develops and executes strategic, comprehensive public relations plans, media strategies, and media initiatives for all clients
  • Cultivates positive client relationships and looks for opportunities to grow the existing business; takes opportunities to visit clients in person
  • Works closely with internal teams to help ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Resolves problems associated with projects to ensure client satisfaction
  • Supports some new business pitches and direction

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Must be a strategic thinker
  • Self-starter
  • Creative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship management and organizational skills
  • Must be a solutions-oriented problem solver
  • Must be a leader
  • Must thrive in managing multiple projects
  • Have a broad overview of both digital and traditional marketing strategies
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, a plus

 

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Seven years of professional experience
  • Agency experience in client relationships is preferred

 

Salary Information

$75,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
